We Called…USRider Helped!

Alan and I have been members of USRider Motor Plan for many years now, and we called on them for help during an emergency last year. The response was immediate and they were able to find a truck repair service that stayed open past 5pm so we could get in and get a brake line repaired.

Like American Express, we don’t leave home without

US Rider Logo

USRider is a nationwide roadside assistance plan created especially for equestrians. It includes standard features such as flat-tire repair, battery assistance and lock-out services, plus towing up to 100 miles and roadside repairs for tow vehicles and trailers with horses, emergency stabling, veterinary referrals and more.

USRider has an extensive equine travel safety area posted at www.usrider.org. This area contains a checklist of items you shouldn’t leave home without, a list of vet-recommended contents for first aid kits, trailer maintenance tips and much more.

For more information about USRider, visit them online at www.usrider.orgor call 1-800-844-1409.

USRider can replace current motor plans by covering members in any vehicle – even if you are not driving. For more information about the USRider Equestrian Motor Plan, call toll-free (800) 844-1409 or visit www.usrider.org.

AND ANOTHER SAFETY HINT: Consider purchasing tire pressure/temp sensors for your trailer.  You can save yourself a lot of money if you know that the pressure is dropping in a tire or temp rising… most new vehicles have these built in, but they don’t come standard on horse and RV trailers. We bought ours from Camping World. Not cheap, but saving one tire pays for it.  And I set them up so “anybody” can do it.   🙂
